ACT Brumbies Coach Stephen Larkham

The ACT Brumbies understand that it will be a challenging battle for them when they take on the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua in their Shop N Save Super Rugby opener at the HFC Bank Stadium.

Coach Stephen Larkham says they are missing a number of their Wallaby players and they know the Drua are near full strength.

He says the Brumbies have never beaten the Drua away from home, and they know that over the last two seasons, only two teams have won here in Fiji.

He adds that humidity and heat will be a factor in today’s match.

The former Wallabies fly-half says their fans will turn up today, and they will create an atmosphere that the boys really have not played in front of.

The Drua will host the Brumbies at the HFC Bank Stadium at 3.35 this afternoon at the HFC Bank Stadium In Suva.

Meanwhile, the Crusaders defeated the Hurricanes 33-25 while the Waratahs edged the Highlanders 37-36.

In other matches, the Blues will face the Chiefs at 6.05 tonight, and the Force will play Moana Pasifika at 8.35pm.
