Raikadroka aims to win all 3 categories for the 2023 10th Anniversary Music Awards

Facing challenges during her years as an entertainer and artist has paid off for Natalie Raikadroka after being nominated in three categories for the 2023 10th Anniversary Music Awards that will be held this Saturday at the Grand Pacific Hotel.

Of the 13 categories, Raikadroka has been nominated for the Best English Composition Award with the song Good Love and Rockin' Like That and the Best Hip-Hop Award with the song named Grammar Tu Ga.

Raikadroka says the challenges she faced are the fights they faced constantly and being the champion for copyright and protecting their work as artists champion for copyright and protecting their work as an artist.

She says that she feels it is not the responsibility of the copyright owner or those that loved their music and the audience.

She adds that integrity is the major part of it and believes things will be great for our local artists through education and awareness.

Raikadroka says after years of challenging herself to pursue further with her music career, she has finally hit the mark this year and is looking to win the three awards.

The artist also acknowledged the different stakeholders that have stepped in to sponsor the different categories of the event.

Meanwhile, the Fiji Performing Rights Association received two sponsorship worth $10,000 today.

The first sponsorship of $5,000 was received from Ashabhai & Co.Pte. Ltd for the Best Hindi Song Award and $5,000 from the New Methodist Church for the Best Gospel Song Award.

New Methodist Church has been the sponsor for the Best Gospel Song Award for the past six years.
