Rabuka reminds civil servants of the important roles they play in the country

Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka reminded the civil servants of the important roles they play in drafting policies to ensure the swift delivery of service and programs for people in the Country.

While officiating at the Civil Servants Week celebration at Albert Park this morning, Rabuka echoed sentiments of gratitude, service, sacrifice, and commitment that the civil servants continue to do.

He says their dedication shows a great sense of national service and pride in the country.

There were also medals handed out to some civil servants with Rabuka stressing the meaning of the medals given.

He says the medals are recognitions of their hard work and it symbolizes the sweat, blood, tears, and their sacrifices.

Hundreds of Civil Servants gathered in numbers and marched through Suva City to Albert Park this morning.

Today will be the last day of the week-long celebration for the civil servants around the country.
