Opposition and SODELPA Leader, Sitiveni Rabuka and National Federation Party Leader, Professor Biman Prasad are in Nadi today as part of their Listening Tour in the Western Division.

The two leaders visited Nadi Market, Nadi Hospital, cane farmers and also visited the FRIEND Fiji, TISI Sangam and the Civil Society Organizations Alliance for COVID-19 Humanitarian Response Centre in Navakai, Nadi.

The NFP says cane farmers in Nawaicoba in Nadi raised the issue of water supply and access to clean drinking water.

Rabuka and Prasad have said that they will raise the issues brought up with relevant stakeholders.

The tour is expected to finish this Saturday.

The Opposition says between the last parliamentary sitting in September and the re-opening of parliament on 30th November, the Parliamentary Opposition Leaders will use this period to embark on a Listening Tour and hear the concerns of the people, to ensure that responses to the President's speech detailing Government's legislative agenda, is appropriate and inclusive.

Rabuka and Prasad will update the community on the last session of parliament, and consult and receive feedback on the state of the nation, create awareness and encourage the participation of citizens in the legislative processes of parliament.
