People’s Alliance Leader, Sitiveni Rabuka, National Federation Party Leader, Professor Biman Prasad and Fiji Labour Party Leader, Mahendra Chaudhry met in Suva last night.

The meeting was organized by former election candidate, Nirmal Singh who had called on the leaders to come together for the sake of the nation.

He posted a photo up on his facebook page that the meeting went well and he was just the platform.

Singh says that there was so much goodwill and respect.

He also says Rabuka and Prasad gave so much respect to Chaudhry as the elder statesman.

Singh posted on his facebook page that Rabuka never even once addressed Chaudhry by his name.

He says Rabuka addressed Chaudhry as Prime Minister, and when the meeting started, Rabuka said they have the elder and Prime Minister there, and let him start the ball rolling.

Singh says today our leaders showed respect, love and embraced each other.

We are currently trying to speak to Rabuka, Prasad and Chaudhry on whether this was a step taken to have a working arrangement for the elections. They are yet to respond.
