As pressure mounted, Nasinu began to make unforced errors and they managed to close the gap slightly with a penalty goal in the 27th minute, bringing the score to 17-8.

However, RKS remained relentless and they scored their third try in the 32nd minute to head into half time with a commanding 22-8 lead.

The second half was all RKS as they piled on 31 more points with clinical execution and relentless pressure, while Nasinu could only manage a single try, ending the game 53-15.

Emotions ran high as the final whistle blew in the 73rd minute. The Delainakaikai boys celebrated their long-awaited victory, finally lifting the coveted Super Deans Trophy after seven years of heartache.
