The Republic of Fiji Military Forces 3rd Battalion Fiji Infantry Regiment Support Company Mortar Platoon will be conducting a live firing exercise in the vicinity of Natawa Junction (Edela Settlement) in the Nausori Highlands training area from this Sunday to Friday, 26th November.

It says the live firing exercise includes the maintenance, operation and employment of the weapon and aims to test the technical and tactical proficiency skills of individuals, crew and their leaders to be able to achieve and sustain the required outcome.

The RFMF says the exercise will be conducted during the day and at night and members of the public residing in the vicinity of these areas are advised to refrain from coming close during the conduct of the exercise.
