Quinlan hoping to take Fiji’s light heavyweight boxing title to Australia

Former IBO Super Middleweight champion, Renold Quinlan is looking forward to taking Fiji’s light heavyweight title to Australia.

He will face Savenaca Naliva in the South Pacific Boxing Promotion at Prince Charles Park this evening.

The 32-year-old who is of Fijian descent says there will be fireworks.

Naliva says he has a lot of respect for Quinlan and is ready to defend his title.

The supporting bout will feature Siliveni Nawai from Nadi and Abhay Chand of Draiba.

The other fights will see former rugby league player Puna Rasaubale fighting Esira Natotomu in the heavyweight challenge and Filimoni Naliva Jnr of Sorokoba will fight Epeneri Goneva of Bukuya for the Cruserweight title.
