Minister for Housing and Local Government Maciu Nalumisa says he will be looking into the relocation of Qauia Settlement as it is prone to flooding.
While speaking in Parliament, Nalumisa says in a plan that was earlier done, there were concerns about those settlements that live alongside the Qauia River in Lami.
He says they will need to relocate the community to a higher ground.
The Minister says he is in discussion with the iTLTB if they have any unused lands in upper Qauia where they could formalise the Qauia Settlement.
