Defending Vodafone Super Deans under 18 champions Queen Victoria School will be focused on ticking their boxes first off the field throughout the week before jumping onto the field on Saturday to take on Nasinu Secondary School in the final.

QVS captain Anare Tabakaucoro says their win against Ratu Navula College over the weekend was reflected in their discipline off the field, especially in living up to the expectations of their teachers.

Tabakaucoro says the players made sure they are keeping a clean discipline record in school throughout the week before they head out to play every Saturday.

When asked about their match-up against Nasinu this weekend, Tabakaucoro says they have a lot of respect for Nasinu since they are the Southern Zone champion, but that does not take away the fact that they will fight to defend their title this year.

QVS will take on Nasinu at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.

In other finals, in the under 14 grade, Ratu Kadavulevu School will play MGM High School, Marist Brothers’ High School will take on Suva Grammar School in the under 15, Lelean Memorial School will play Suva Grammar in the under 16, in the under 17, RKS will battle Marist and Lami High School will take on QVS in the under 19. In the Weet-Bix Raluve competition, Niusawa Secondary School will play Sigatoka Methodist College in the under 16 final while Natabua High School will take one Adi Cakobau School in the under 18 final. All these matches will also be played at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
