The Powerade National Torch reached Levuka to fuel the excitement for the Coca-Cola Ovalau Zone competition that is starting today.

The torch was welcomed by secondary schools in the northern part of Tailevu yesterday, including students from St. Vincent College, who gathered to witness the historic event.

The family of the Turaga Bale na Tui Levuka officially welcomed the torch upon its arrival, and the torch relay team managed to present their sevusevu in a traditional ceremony last night.

Today, the torch will be honoured during the Ovalau Zone before returning to Suva this afternoon and continuing its journey to secondary schools in the Western tomorrow and to the Northern Divisions in the coming weeks.

A total of 130 students from 50 selected secondary schools will carry the torch until it returns to Suva for the highly anticipated Coca-Cola Games.

Meanwhile, a total of 8 Zones meet to be completed this weekend and 7 Zone meet to be held in the coming weeks.

The Coca-Cola Games will be held at the HFC Bank Stadium from April 24th to 26th.
