Fiji Rugby CEO John O'Connor.

The Fiji Rugby Union says positive discussions are continuing about the Flying Fijians involvement in an eight-team tournament with Six Nations sides in November this year.

Fiji Rugby CEO John O'Connor says he had discussions with organisers this morning.

He says based on ongoing discussions, the Flying Fijians are expected to meet England on 14th November, Wales on 21st November and Ireland on 28th November.

O'Connor says the Flying Fijians last game based on where they finish in the pool would be on 5th December.

He says the name of the tournament will not be the Eight Nations as previously reported but something like the Autumn Cup.

O'Connor says there will be official announcements made by the organisers.

In the eight-team tournament, Fiji is expected to face England, Wales and Ireland in one group while in the other pool, Scotland will host Japan and France at Murrayfield and face Italy in Rome.

There is no official confirmation of the venues and schedules yet.
