Police have yet to ascertain the cause of death of 45-year-old woman Mozmin Khan, whose body was discovered at the bottom of a hotel elevator shaft in Suva 9 months ago.
Khan had checked into the hotel a few days before her mysterious death.
Hotel staff informed fijivillage News that all security cameras in the corridors were non-functional, making it impossible to determine who placed her body there.
Khan’s body was found five days later when a foul odor emanating from the elevator shaft was noticed by the hotel reception.
Police are still investigating and they have interviewed witnesses over the past nine months, yet no significant leads have emerged.
