Police are yet to classify the case where a woman was found dead in a garage at a home in Bayview Heights on Friday.

Divisional Police Commander South Pita Keni says they are currently waiting for the post mortem result which is being conducted today.

He says the 50-year-old security officer who was arrested in relation to the body find remains in police custody.

Police had earlier confirmed the incident occurred at a home belonging to a 52-year-old man.

They say the man was inside his house when he heard a commotion outside and found his 50-year-old security officer arguing with a woman standing outside the gate.

Police say while trying to diffuse the situation, he noticed another woman lying motionless in his garage.

A call was made to the Nabua Police whereby they attended to the report and took the 50-year-old security officer into custody.
