Police search for 6 people adrift at sea

Police are currently searching for six people who are drifting in a fiber glass boat somewhere near the Toberua Island in Lomaiviti waters.

Police say Taito Tikomaimaleya and 5 other passengers departed Qarani, Gau for Suva this morning.

Police Command and Coordination Centre has urged people living along coastal areas to keep a lookout and report any sighting to Police Search and Rescue Centre on 3318529 or 9905296.
