Police say business operators can call them if they need escorts for bank runs

Police are offering assistance to business operators during this busy Christmas shopping period by providing officers as escorts for bank runs if they need it.

Business operators have been urged to call their respective Police Command Centres.

You can call the Northern Command Centre on 9905722, Western Command Centre on 9905 457, Southern Command Centre 9905529, Eastern Command Centre 9905563 and Central Command Centre 8932875.

Police are advising business operators not to keep large sums of money on their premises.
