Nabua Police are investigating an incident where a foreign national was robbed at the Nabua roundabout.

The suspect allegedly opened the back door of the woman's car, grabbed the bag and fled.

They allegedly took her laptop and travel documents.

Chief Operations Officer ACP Livai Driu says they have not had a surge in reports in this area in recent months.

However he says this area in the past was known for similar opportunistic crimes which is why they are always calling for vigilance not only along this stretch but in general, because the majority of the crimes such as theft are opportunistic in nature.
