Police have started an investigation into a social media post where a child was seen holding a glass of what appears to be beer with adults surrounding the child.
The photo shows the child with the glass almost to his lips.
Police say an investigation is underway considering the action of the adults and the welfare of the child according to law.
We have sent questions to the Minister for Children Sashi Kiran.
She is yet to respond.
