Police Crime and Crime Scene Investigators are in Muaniweni, Naitasiri after the Police Post received a call this morning alleging that an unknown person has added chemicals in the dam which is the source of drinking water for Nadevotu and Namuamua villages.
Spokesperson, Ana Naisoro says both villages were visited by the Police Post Officer and the team.
Naisoro confirms that students from the villages were visited at Muaniweni Primary School where 10 students were found sick.
The 10 students have been taken to Naqali Health Centre and are currently being examined.
