Residents in Nabua say youths were seen selling small bags of white crystals to people who come to that area in their vehicles.

They say usually there is a group of youths seen in the area dealing drugs.

While responding to questions sent by fijivillage News, Divisional Police Commander South Wate Vocevoce says there were 2 cases of unlawful possession of illicit drugs recorded at Mead Road Housing where the people involved were charged and appeared in court.

Vocevoce says their uniform branch is working with the community where visibility is heightened in the area and information gathering is increased.

Police are encouraging people to share information with Police and Crime Stoppers on 919 or 917 as this is crucial to combating the drug trade.

Meanwhile, Police investigations are continuing.
