Police hold off late Army surge to win 2025 Ratu Sukuna Bowl Rugby League title

Police have claimed the 2025 Vodafone Ratu Sukuna Bowl Rugby League title after surviving a strong late comeback from the Army side, winning 32-28 at the HFC Bank Stadium.

Supporters braved the wet weather and filled the stands as Police got off to a dominant start, taking a 20-4 lead into halftime.

Army regrouped in the second spell and staged an impressive fightback, piling on points to close the gap, but Police held firm in the final minutes to secure the victory.

In the Development category, Army defeated Police 27-22.
