Police following up on some leads in the Shalimar Street break-in

Police are following up on some leads in the case of the five men that broke into a house at Shalimar Street in Suva on Monday morning and took off with items worth more than $10,000.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro confirms the investigating team are following up on some leads in this matter.

She had earlier confirmed that the matter was attended to by the Raiwaqa Police Station with the crime scene investigators on Monday.

She also confirms no one has been taken into custody as investigations continue.

Police were at the scene on Sunday morning and returned to conduct further investigations later.

We are also asking Police about the number of reported home invasions and break-ins, and the plans to counter these crimes. Stay with us for developments.
