Police have conducted their inspection on the Wailoku Community Police Post as it is close to the river and could fall into it after a landslide during heavy rain.
The edge of the wooden structure that is built on a pile foundation is about half a metre away from the Wailoku Riverbank.
Spokesperson, Ana Naisoro says their Building and Maintenance Unit has conducted an assessment on the site.
She says further comments on the situation will be made later.
