There was an early morning raid conducted by the Fiji Police Force at a house along Waimanu Road in Suva this morning which is suspected to be a place from where a drug dealer is operating.
There was a police carrier, 4 four wheel drive vehicles as well as the Police K9 Unit present.
Some residents from around the area have raised concerns about drugs being sold at some of the stalls along Waimanu Road for some time.
We are awaiting a response from the Police.
The same house was raided in April this year however nothing was discovered.
Concerns were raised then that it is highly likely compromised officers are tipping off the dealer before the actual raid takes place.
Police Commissioner, Rusiate Tudravu had earlier advised people to contact Police if they notice any drug related activities.
