Singh has been booked for act intended to insult the modesty of a woman.

A woman lawyer had also submitted a complaint against Singh's obscene photo-shoot in the Chembur Police station.

The complaint further says these kinds of acts should be opposed strongly.

They are also saying this act of the accused person created shame in the eyes of the women.

Meanwhile, Ram Gopal Varma who is known for his controversial statement has come out in support of Ranveer Singh's nude photoshoot.

Varma asks that if women can show off their sexy bodies, why cannot men.
