The alleged case of rape involving a Police Officer will be investigated by the Criminal Investigations Department Headquarters.
The male officer allegedly raped a female police constable over the weekend and the matter was reported at the Lautoka Police Station.
Acting Commissioner of Police, Juki Fong Chew has directed that the suspect be interdicted with half pay, and his uniforms and police accessories seized, until the completion of the investigation.
