Police Blue to face Raiwasa Taveuni in the final of Super 7s Series

Police Blue will face Raiwasa Taveuni in the final of the first tournament in the Fiji Rugby Super 7s Series at Lawaqa Park.

In the first semi-final, Filipe Suguturaga and Waisea Nacuqu scored a try each as Police Blue beat the Life After Rugby Barbarian Brothers 14-5.

Barbarian had the services of players like Jerry Tuwai and Pio Tuwai.

Police Blue came out stronger although two of their players were sin-binned for dangerous play.

In the second semi-final, Raiwasa Taveuni scored four tries as they thrashed Ratu Filise 26-7.

In the women’s semi-finals, MT Masada beat Striders 28-0 and MT Camel defeated Sea Hawks 19-7.

Fiji Airways Men's National 7s Coach Gareth Baber says the level of competition is healthy however discipline remains an issue.
