Good news for music fanatics as Australian gospel band Planet Shakers are back in the country.

The Melbourne Australia-based band will hold a three night Believe National Nights of Celebration at Churchill Park in Lautoka.

Believe Campaign Director Neil Smith says the concert is the first for them to hold since the relaxing of restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Smith says the last concert in Fiji was in October 2019 adding that it is fitting to be playing for the first time again in Fiji.

He says the aim for this tour is to continue their work in the Pacific and to also engage young people.

Smith says there has already been so much interest shown prior to the start of the three night concert that begins tonight and concludes on Sunday.

Lena Known for the popular gospel hits — Heaven on Earth and Only Way, Smith says similar events have been held in the past across the Pacific with about 200,000 people in attendance.
