The Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s lost their second pool match at the HSBC Perth 7s, losing to Canada 14-12.

The Fijiana side had a great start as they scored twice to lead the Canadians 14-7 at half time.

Ilisapeci Delaiwau and Lavena Cavuru scored a try each for Fiji.

The second half saw Fiji committing a lot of mistakes which Canada took advantage of, resulting in a converted try to Olivia Apps to put them in a 14-12 lead.

The Fijiana girls tried their best in the final minutes to break through the Canadian defence, but they dropped the ball inside Canada’s 22-metre line, giving the Canadians the victory they were hoping for.

The Fijiana 7s lost 21-19 to the USA in their first match.
