A person of interest in custody for allegedly shooting dead Charlie Kirk, the conservative political activist and co-founder of Turning Point USA at an event at Utah Valley University.
There has been an outpouring of condemnation from both sides of the aisle to Kirk’s death.
President Donald Trump says the he was loved and admired by all, especially him.
Trump has ordered flags to fly at half-staff until Sunday.
Authorities in Utah says there was an active investigation and that there is a person of interest in custody.
FBI Director Kash Patel says the subject for the horrific shooting was in custody.
