Supervisor of Elections Mohammed Saneem

Supervisor of Elections, Mohammed Saneem has referred the People’s Alliance Party to the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption for probable breach of Section 116(3)(c) and 4(d) of the Electoral Act.

Saneem says a statement had been posted on the People’s Alliance Facebook Page of one of the provisional candidates of the party that may be in direct breach of the law.

He says the statement by Liliana Warid commemorating World’s Indigenous People, contained statements that may amount to racial vilification.
