People warned to refrain resorting to those claiming to remove COVID vaccine from bodies

Minister for Health Dr Ifereimi Waqainabete.

Please refrain from resorting to self-proclaimed medical practitioners claiming to remove the COVID vaccine from the body using non-medical procedures.

The warning follows information received by the Ministry of Health about a group of men claiming that they can remove the vaccine from the bodies and are charging members of the public money.

Minister for Health Dr Ifereimi Waqainabete says the vaccine initiated an immune response of new soldiers to fight COVID-19 that is present in the whole body and not only in the arm.

He says only a certified health practitioner with a license can make a procedure on a patient with a documented consent.

Waqainabete says from the pictures posted widely on social media about this practice, they are concerned the procedures used may cause infection, sepsis, potential and even life threatening outcomes.

He says this practice must be stopped.
