Members who have fully withdrawn their Fiji National Provident funds at 55 years old can rejoin FNPF.

This was highlighted by the FNPF Manager Employers Peni Gonelevu when questioned during the FNPF Member Forum in Labasa if people can rejoin after withdrawing their full amount.

Gonelevu says if a member has fully withdrawn their funds at 55 years, they can still re-enter FNPF once again.

However, he says this has to be subject to approval by their employer, who will also have to pay the 10 percent employer contribution.

Gonelevu also says there's no re-entry after the second withdrawal.

He further says the age limit to be an FNPF member is 54 for compulsory and voluntary members to join as new members.

The Manager Employers says members can continue to contribute to their FNPF funds after 55 if their accounts are still open.
