Palace stun Man City while Liverpool held by Brighton

Defending champions Manchester City were stunned 2-0 at home by Crystal Palace in the English Premier League this morning.

Wilfried Zaha and Conor Gallagher scored a goal each for Palace in the win.

City played the second half with 10 players after defender Aymeric Laporte was shown a red card.

In another match this morning, Brighton came from two goals down to hold Liverpool to a 2-2 draw at Anfield.

Jordan Henderson and Sadio Mane scored a goal each for Liverpool.
