Padarath’s case adjourned

The case of Suva businessman Ben Padarath and Lawyer Aseri Vakaloloma has been adjourned till next Tuesday.

The court clerk informed Padarath's lawyer that the case has been transferred before the Chief Magistrate Usaia Ratuvili who will officially start work next Monday.

It is alleged that between 14th October to 31st December 2009, Padarath with intend to defraud, forged a document namely the Articles of Association for BECP Engineering Construction Fiji Limited whereby making a false page of the Articles of Association by altering the particulars of subscribers from a Adishwar Padarath to Voreqe Bainimarama and placed his signature as one of the subscribers.
 
Their bail has been extended.
