Pacific Games: Gold on the line in Netball and Basketball

Fiji has secured two more gold medals at the 2023 Pacific Games as Jone Davule won the Boxing 60kg event and Rusiate Matai jumped 2.04 metres in the high jump.

Today is the last day of competitions Team Fiji will be featuring in 5 competitions which are Athletics, Basketball 3x3, Netball, Sailing and Touch Rugby.

The Fiji Pearls are playing Tonga in the Netball gold medal playoffs at 11.30 this morning.

In Basketball 3x3, the Men’s team are playing New Caledonia at 10am while the Women’s team will face New Caledonia at 10.50am.

Also at 11am in Sailing is the One Person Dinghy Teams and Individual finals.

Fiji is is now in sixth place with 21 gold, 27 silver and 38 bronze.

New Caledonia is leading with 77 gold, 55 silver and 56 bronze while Tahiti is second with 51 gold, 52 silver and 50 bronze medals.
