National Football team captain Roy Krishna will not be playing in the semi final match against the Solomon Islands as he has departed for India.

This has been confirmed by national team coach Robert Sherman who says the team has to cope with the loss.

He says Krishna is an experienced player for the team and his presence will be missed but the team has to cope without him in the semi final.

Sherman says that it was Krishna’s minimum objective to make it to the semi final and he is very pleased with the performance of the team.

He says has been working on the aspects of their strategic plans and hopes to have a good game this afternoon.

The Bula Boys face hosts Solomon Islands in the Pacific Games semi final at 4pm today.
