It will be a festive Christmas for the staff of Fiji Ports Corporation Limited after Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka announced a bonus payout of $342,469 for the 133 employees.

The Fiji Ports Corporation Limited (FPCL) presented a dividend cheque of $6.8 million to the Government of Fiji, following a record Net Profit after Tax (NPAT) of $27.84 million in 2023.

This marks a 3 percent growth compared to the previous year.

Rabuka says the good result reflects not only the hard work and determination of the FPCL team but also the strategic decisions made to ensure sustained growth and operational efficiency.

He says the dividend payout of $16.6 million to the three shareholders is a testament to the Corporation's continued success and financial health. He is pleased to know that such positive results benefit both the government and our people, as well as key partners like the Fiji National Provident Fund.
