51,000 people watched live Fiji’s first ever VitiFM Live Mai Rooftop concert with Digicel which was also live on air on Viti FM.

This number does not include the thousands more who also watched it live in Facebook watch groups.

Fijians from as far as Alaska in the US, France, Japan, Australia and New Zealand watched the concert live on the VitiFM facebook page.

Digicel Fiji Chief Executive Officer Mike Greig has declared the concert a success and says he looks forward to many more events of this magnitude in the future.

He says he was proud of what was produced last night.

Last night, Cagi ni Delai Yatova opened the performances, setting the stage for all the other performers with their hit song “Kani Cava”.

Sassy and Etta Gonerogo added more flavour to the event singing their hit songs such as 2 Bags Wacala and Kalokalo Volasiga.

Sassy and Aggie Vakaloloma performed a number together, singing the famous song Makosoi which they dedicated to all the villagers of Vuna in Taveuni.

Vude Queen Laisa Vulakoro says this was a good opportunity for many of their fans to finally watch them live.

Other artists that performed last night are Senilagakali kei Koroilagi, Voqa ni Delai Dokidoki, Leba Boi Yawa kei Lomai Nasau and Tauvu Tribute.
