Over 100 children and adults are part of the Mokani Youth Club family fun day to share the happiness of Easter at Mokani Village in Tailevu today.

The club organised sporting activities for children and adults like netball, touch rugby, volleyball, badminton and sack race.

Mokani Youth Club President, Adi Salaseini Vueti says this family fun day will give children and parents a chance to spend quality time together as a family.

Vueti says this initiative is an opportunity to reflect on the importance of quality family time.

Adults were also able to register for the COVID-19 vaccination at the event.

The club highlighted that the health and well-being of people in their community is paramount and they partnered with the Ministry of Health to encourage their members to register for the COVID-19 vaccination.

It says this is a huge step back to normality for Fiji and its people with hope that borders will open to visitors, restoring the livelihoods of thousands of Fijians including the people of Mokani who depend on the tourism sector.
