OneRepublic has released their new single “Wild Life,” which appears on the soundtrack for the Disney+ original movie Clouds.

Inspired real-life events, Clouds tells the story of Zach Sobiech, a 17-year-old musician and his best friend and songwriting partner who are on a mission to make the most of every day once Sobiech’s rare bone cancer, osteosarcoma, begins to spread.

The duo is offered a record deal with the help of their mentor and teacher Mr. Weaver after which Sobiech embarks on an unforgettable journey with the support of his best friend, parents, and the love of his life.

It’s an exploration of heartbreak and friendship, as well as a realization of the power of music.

Wild Life is written by OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder, a Grammy Award-winning songwriter alongside collaborators Brent Kutzle and John Nathaniel.

Lyrics for Wild Life

I’m staring at these sudden waterfalls

Tears that don’t make sense to me at all

This life's what happens when you’re making plans

Don’t know what happens next or where I stand

Wanna live this wild life, wild, every day Ooooh

Wanna say the things people never say

Ooooh I’ll take all the love and all the pain

Ahhh Wanna live this wild life, wild today

Ooooooh Ooooooh

Give me all your love and all your pain

Gonna live this wild life wild today

I’m staring at these faded signs ahead

But all these turns just fill me up with dread

But life's what happens when you’re making plans

Dive or step right in but please don’t stand Ooh

Wanna live this wild life, wild, every day Ooooh

Wanna say the things people never say

Ooooh I’ll take all the love and all the pain

Ahhh I want to live this wild life wild today

Ooooooh Ooooooh

Give me all your love and all your pain

Gonna live this wild life wild today

Gonna live this wild life wild today
