Gabrielle Thomas of the United States put on a dominant performance to win the Women’s 200 metres finals with a time of 21.83 seconds.
Julien Alfred of Saint Lucia who had won the 100 metres final settled for silver while Brittany Brown of the US won bronze.
Coming up tonight, the Men’s High Jump qualification is on at 8.05pm, Women’s 100 metres Hurdles at 8.15pm, Women’s Javelin qualification at 8.25pm, Men’s 5,000 metres round 1 at 9.10pm
