The new Minister for Lands and Mineral Resources, Filimoni Vosarogo has emphasized that the officers are to work freely, without fear, and continue to be productive.

He has highlighted this while being welcomed to his office by his Permanent Secretary and her senior management team yesterday.

During the welcome, the Permanent Secretary presented an overall brief of the Ministry’s functions, responsibilities, and activities.

According to a Fijian Government Facebook post, Vosarogo acknowledged the presentation and understands that the Ministry administrates a number of legislations and policies.

Vosarogo encouraged officers to carry out the work they are required to do and to make the Ministry a premier Ministry.

He further stated that he looks forward to working with the team in the next four years.
