Darwin Nunez scored two late goals to give Liverpool a 2-0 win over Brentford in round 22 of the English Premier League this morning.

After 37 shots and constant pressure, Nunez finally broke the deadlock in the 91st minute and added another two minutes later.

The victory puts Liverpool six points clear at the top of the table with 50 points, while second-placed Arsenal remain on 44 points after a 2-2 draw against Aston Villa. Nottingham Forest is in third place with 41 points, and Newcastle follows with 38 points.

Meanwhile, Brentford manager Thomas Frank has labelled Liverpool as the best team in the Premier League and the world with just one loss this season.

In other EPL matches this morning, Arsenal held Aston Villa to a 2-all draw, Fullham defeated Leicester City 2-0, Crystal Palace defeated West Ham 2-0 and Bournemouth thrashed Newcastle 4-1.
