No one comes near Unity Fiji when it comes to leadership – Narube

Unity Fiji Party Leader, Savenaca Narube

Unity Fiji Party Leader, Savenaca Narube says no one comes near Unity Fiji when it comes to leadership as their team has people with qualifications and profiles unlike Sitiveni Rabuka and Voreqe Bainimarama with short profiles based only on coups saying my coup was better than yours.

While speaking at the party rally at Assemblies of God Primary School in Kinoya, Narube says this election is all about leadership with a strong team and everything is wrong if the leader is wrong.

He says we need a leader who will take the country and its people forward and Unity Fiji will bring an end to the current government that has been bringing criticism and falling over cliffs financially.

Narube says these leaders would not have been sitting where they are if they were not coup makers therefore Unity Fiji will bring an end to this through their promises from their manifesto and their best financial management experience.

He says some of the components of their budget are to provide machines to the agriculture sector, establish processing centres, change the mindset of people, fight for the poor, reimburse FNPF funds, protect control of resources by landowners, increase social welfare, wipe off TELS debts and provide free education.

Narube further says this will be done through cutting wastage from government expenses, establishment of a land commission, the Economic Transformation Programme, and prioritising expenses according to their manifesto.

He also says they will re-look at all contracts for Permanent Secretaries and increase the minimum wage rate to $5.

The party leader says this will be done immediately as they come into government.
