Fiji Rugby Union Interim Chairman Peter Mazey

Fiji Rugby Union Interim Chairman Peter Mazey has hinted that the new Fiji Water Flying Fijians Coach will be named in January next year.

Head Coach Simon Raiwalui revealed last month that he will not extend his stay with the Flying Fijians when his term comes to an end on December 31st 2023.

Mazey says expressions of interest have been sent in even before the Head Coach position was advertised.

He says Raiwalui gave them a full verbal update, and he will be in the country this week, where he will be giving his full report.

Mazey also told the media that a lot of interest is coming from overseas coaches however he did not reveal any names.
