It was all smiles for students of Nadrau Primary School in Tavua after they witnessed the official opening of their newly built, category 5 school facilities.

The school was destroyed by TC Winston in 2016 and now its category 5 structure will benefit 91 students from the four villages in the Tikina of Nadrau.

While opening the newly built school facility, Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama says, he believes that every dollar that went into this investment is for their future.

He says they believe the students and the villages deserve every measure of support the government can afford to give.

The government invested $4,362,488.38 in the construction of new school dormitories, school hall, triplex quarters, lavatory block, footpath and driveway while renovations were made on the classroom block, teachers' quarters and the kindergarten.
