Never underestimate yourself and your self-worth because success is a lonely journey, do not give up and always believe in yourself and say no to drugs no matter what.
This was the message from Fiji 7s legend, Waisale Serevi during his speech during the Pathways to Purpose program to students of Nasinu Secondary School.
Serevi says this is a national initiative designed to guide young people to see their value, set goals, and make choices that strengthen their families and communities.
He says it focuses on building self-worth, discipline, and resilience through mentorship, sports, arts, and culture and most importantly saying no to substance abuse and drugs.
He adds he has spent 15 years in the US and he felt the need to come back home and help the children and youth to stay away from Drugs and HIV and help them achieve their dreams.
The initiative was organized by Teivovo Magazine and Program Director Randall Kamea who also addressed students and teachers, emphasizing that Pathways to Purpose represents the beginning of a national journey focused on purpose, discipline, and direction.
Kamea says this is a proud and meaningful moment, as they take the first step in a national journey to inspire our young people to live with purpose, discipline, and direction.
