Navua soccer captain, Vineet Chand says they have stepped up preparations for Courts IDC after not achieving desired results in the Vodafone Premier League and Punjas BOG.

Navua got thrashed 4-1 by Nadi, lost to Rewa 3-0 and won against Lautoka 3-1 in the Punjas BOG. They currently sit last on the Vodafone Premier League points table and are in danger of getting relegated.

They will face Labasa, Ba and Nadi in the group stages of Courts IDC.

Chand says there may be some changes in their lineup as they will first face defending champion, Labasa who will definitely want to win their first match.

He is calling on Navua fans to stay positive and keep supporting the side as while they may not have the facilities and resources like other teams, they will play for the pride of the Navua residents.

Navua will have players like Thomas Dunn, Apisai Smith, Jesoni Takala, Monit Chand, Seveci Rokotakala and Josaia Ratu.

The Courts IDC kicks off on Tuesday at the ANZ Stadium and Navua will face Labasa at 2.30pm.

You can catch the live commentaries of the Suva-Nasinu match at 12.30pm, Ba-Nadi game at 4.30pm and Rewa-Lautoka match at 7pm.
