The Nausori Rugby 10’s tournament 2024 will be officially launched tonight.
Tournament organiser Malakai Yamaivava says the launching will be held at the Nausori Village Hall at 7.00 tonight.
Yamaivava says things are falling into place as they build up to this weekend’s tournament, especially with the confirmation of the 32 teams in the Men’s category and 4 teams in the Women’s category.
He says there were even more teams on the waiting list that wanted to participate in the tournament as well but all spots were filled.
He adds there will be 8 pools in the Men’s division while the women will play round-robin matches.
Yamaivava says they will also be having coaches and managers briefing this Wednesday as they want the tournament to have a smooth run this weekend.
The Nausori Rugby 10s will be held from this Friday to Saturday at Ratu Cakobau Park.
